I don’t know how these super moms do it. As I was reading ice-creammomma’s blog I came across a situation that is so familiar to me that I played the video in my head as I read it. Jackson is crazy and always wants to be with me, beside me, on my lap at the table, on top of me laying watching cartoons its extremely hard to get house work done. If we lived in a perfect world self cleaning dishes and new pressed magically clothing closets then yes I’m all about the me and him time.
Its not that I don’t want to play with you baby. Its that mommy has to do actual work so we don’t live in a pig pen like animals.
There should be a guide on “How to make healthy home cooked meals while your legs are weighted down by a toddler.”
This would probably be a best seller.
Then again my overt hinging self brings up the quality family time that mommy misses while at work and school, so should i stop and play or lay around with him all day and get nothing done. These are the times I want other children to occupy my child but when I’m done then so are they and it’s a full on mommy and me day.
